About Me
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) based in Seattle, and seeing clients throughout Washington state (LF61490589).
I am a white, cisgender, queer woman who is also a mom. I care about how my clients’ identities and experiences of oppression impact how they feel about themselves and their lives. I became a therapist because I know how helpful it can be to have a safe space where you can express your feelings. I strive to create a nurturing environment, where you feel heard, and accepted for who you are.
Before becoming a therapist, I was an elementary and preschool teacher. I have also facilitated support groups for parents of newborns, and volunteered at Seattle’s Crisis Connections. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Seattle. I have co-led a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group, teaching Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Distress Tolerance. I integrate these skills in my work with clients coping with challenging emotions or navigating relationships with others.
I enjoy spending free time with my partner, children, and dogs. I love hiking, swimming in Lake Washington, and curling up with a novel on a rainy day. Originally from the East Coast, I moved West 25 years ago, and fell in love with Seattle for its lush, green beauty.

I look forward to meeting you, and hope that we can work together. Please reach out by email, phone, or using the contact form below.
